Vivid Color
Cosmos plants are known for abundantly adding bright pops of color to the garden and landscape!
Cosmos (Cosmos Bipinnatus Double Click Mix)This gorgeous cosmos mix features tall plants with large, fully-double and semidouble blooms. Featuring shades of carmine, pink, and white, these blooms will make for excellent cut flowers and an even better garden addition. These sturdy plants will reach up to 4 feet tall and provide a vibrant display to all. The blooms are also effective at attracting pollinators (especially butterflies) to the garden. For the best flower production, plant in soils of average fertility with moderate water. Cosmos plants tolerate heat, drought, and poor soils. Remove spent blooms to promote additional flowers. Cosmos will usually self-sow if some spent blossoms are kept on plants. Cut flowers typically last 5 to 9 days if blooms are harvested when the petals are just beginning to unfold: the flowers will still fully open in the vase. |

Beautiful Cut FlowerHow to GrowCosmos seeds should be sown directly into prepared seed beds outdoors after all risk of frost has passed. For a natural setting, the seeds can be scattered onto the prepared soil. Lightly rake the soil over the seeds at a depth of 1/16 inch and keep the area moist. Under proper conditions, these seeds will germinate in 14-21 days. These plants will self-sow and return the next year if some spent blooms are allowed to remain on the plant. However, deadheading will prolong the bloom season for the current year. |
PLANTING INFORMATION
Sunlight and Temperature: Persian chrysanthemums prefer ample sunlight, so choose a well-lit and well-ventilated location for planting. They typically thrive in warm climates but can tolerate slight cold.
Soil: Use well-draining and fertile soil. You can add organic fertilizer to ensure the soil is rich in nutrients. Persian chrysanthemums are somewhat tolerant of soil acidity, but neutral to alkaline soil is more suitable.
Watering: Maintain moderate moisture levels, avoiding over-watering. Most Persian chrysanthemum varieties tolerate slightly dry soil, and excessive moisture can lead to root rot.

NOTE: Remember the tiny tomatoes plants should have two sets of "true" leaves, then they are ready for solo planting. Grow them in a sunny and warm place until they are large enough to be planted outside.
